Clothing List, Linen Requirements and other needed items

CLEARWATER CAMP

Clothing/Packing List

Use this list as you pack. Check off each item as you pack it and bring the list with you to camp! When you pack to come home, you will know exactly what you brought with you. You are responsible for you own things.

GENERAL:
* 4-5 pairs washable shorts (at least 2 of them “quick dry”)
* 2 pair of jeans
* 2 pairs warm pants for cool/ rainy days (i.e. flannel, fleece, sweats)
* 8 t-shirts
* 4 long sleeved shirts for cool days & trips (flannel or wool)
* 2 sweat shirts
* 2 fleece jackets, heavy sweater or winter jacket
* 8 pairs socks for everyday
* 2 pairs wool socks for trips & cool days
* 8 pairs underwear
* 2 pajamas, 1 flannel for cooler weather
* 1 set rain jacket & pants (THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT ITEM)
* 2 or more bathing suits (1 must be a one-piece suit)
* 1 WHITE bathing cap
* 1 brimmed cap or hat
* Optional: 1 bathrobe, suitable for beach or cabin

FOR SUNDAYS AND SPECIAL OCCASIONS
* 2 ALL WHITE - 1 pr. shorts, 1 pr. slacks
* 2 ALL WHITE - 1 t-shirt, 1 long sleeved t-shirt
* 2 pairs WHITE socks

SHOES:
* 1-2 pairs tennis/ gym shoes
* 1 pair lightweight, white-soled canvas shoes or secured type sandals
(i.e. Tevas or Chacos) for sailing
* 1 pair hiking boots – broken in
* 1 pair heeled shoes for riding
* Optional: Old shoes that will get wet, Duck boots or rain boots, Slippers for in the cabin

BEDDING AND LINEN:
* 2 sets twin sheets
* 3-4 twin size blankets
* 1 mattress pad
* 1 pillow
* 2 pillow cases
* 2 laundry bags
* 3-4 beach towels
* 3 washcloths
* Optional: 1 set flannel sheets, 1 bedspread

ITEMS TO BRING FOR TRIPPING
* 1 sleeping bag, preferably compact
* 1 ground cloth or nylon tarp (5 x 7’)
* 1 6-8’ trip rope (cotton clothesline)
* 2 colorful bandanas
* 1 water bottle

OTHER ITEMS
* Tennis racquet with a can of balls
* Flashlight or headlamp with extra batteries
* Sunglasses
* Personal backpack or “daypack”
* Sewing kit with extra buttons
* Camera with film (disposables okay)
* Biodegradable soap, shampoo and conditioner
* Covered floating soap box
* Toothbrush/ toothpaste
* Hairbrush/ comb
* Scrunchies or hair ties
* Sun block/ sunscreen
* Kleenex
* Writing pads, pens, pencils, stamps

IF NEEDED:
* Sanitary supplies
* Retainers
* Deodorant

OPTIONAL ITEMS:
* Reading material
* Craft items (beads/ string, coloring, etc…)
* Musical instrument (which will be given good care at camp)
* Inexpensive watch
* Playing cards

DO NOT BRING OR SEND THE FOLLOWING ITEM:
X NO CD players, radios, tape players or electronic games of any kind
X NO Electrical appliances of any kind, with one exception- contact lens disinfecting
X NO Valuable jewelry or expensive watches
X NO Expensive clothes (the laundry is very good, but we have been surprised!)
X NO Candy, sweets, gum, or food of any kind. Clearwater provides a well-balanced and generous diet. Your cooperation is very necessary.

Please Note: Clearwater Camp is not responsible for any damaged or lost clothing or personal equipment, so please don’t send anything with your daughter that is extremely valuable.
