Family Camp 2008

Family camp at Clearwater begins shortly after the second camper session. It is an opportunities for family and friends to share a camping experience together. In general, there is one family or group of friends in a cabin.

The days are organized similarly to the schedule that the campers follow. A few key staff remain to provide assistance as needed, a refresher course if desired, or simple basic instruction. Each day there is some sort of special event such as a round-robin tennis tournament, a sailing regatta, a trip to the Otter Slide, or perhaps a cookout. If you have a suggestion, be sure to let us know.

Do keep in mind that Camp is not comparable to the resorts in the immediate area. Clearwater is a camp… at its traditional best. The beauty of the north woods, the call of the loon, and the freshness of air join together to create a setting and experience that will linger in your thought for some time. Come walk the paths that you know so well.

There is a lot to do around Minocqua and the surrounding area such as shopping, museums, fish hatcheries, Indian cultural activities and more. We’ll be glad to assist you in receiving as much information as possible if you would like to take advantage of activities outside of Camp.

The fees for family camp are per person and include 3 meals per day.
They are as follows:
Adults: $75 per day
Children 5-12: $45 per day
Children 0-4: free
